Antenna: We are most thankful and
pleased to announce the donation of a OMB-MP2
antenna. This is a 2 bay antenna like you
see pictured at left. Our former setup was
just a 1 bay antenna so this is a big step up
for us. They really don't look like much
but each one has to be tuned to our 107.9FM
frequency to meet all FCC specifications for
broadcast.
We have been promised this antenna will ship
out as soon as we need it so it's as good as in
our very hands. Our sincere thanks to our
donor and we give God all the glory.

Cable: Getting the signal from the transmitter, up the tower and to the antenna requires a special cable. We've had up to 200 ft. of this cable and connectors donated and will need hangers to bolt it down along the way. God is working. Another WOW!!!! |

or XP PRO. Will need dual hard drives of
about 120GB and 60GB. Professional sound
cards are needed but we may not be able to start

components to build a couple. |

Audio Console: Everything inside the
studio runs through the audio console which
allows for Mic's, CD players, tape decks and the
automation software audio. Prices vary
tremendously and we will hope to find a good
used one reasonably priced. We've pictured
one that sells new for around 2,400.00. If
we can find a used one it will be great and save
us a lot of valuable dollars in constructing our
new studio. |

Studio Microphone: Well, we've long
dreamed of having the radio standard of an
Electro-Voice RE-20 which we have pictured here.
They sound awesome. We didn't even have
one of these at the old location. We're
just trying to "Think Big" but we'll certainly
be able to use some of the lower priced Mic's
that are available and do a great job as well.
The RE-20 Mic is seen in so many radio stations
around the country. Maybe one day. |

microphone to be used in our production studio.

System: Emergency Alert System's are
REQUIRED by the FCC for all stations. This
unit automatically receives State and National
info about weather and emergencies then
re-broadcasts that info to you our listener.

Logger/Printer: As part of the EAS
system above, the FCC also requires stations to
keep all the info received on file within the
station. Continuous feed printers are most
often used but some stations record this info to
computer files as well.

Radio Receiver: We're required to
monitor several Full Power FM stations in order
to receive the information that comes from them
during emergency situations. It's like a
FM radio tuner and works in conjunction with the EAS Unit

hand. While most all of the music is on
computer, CD players are still a necessity.
